A holistic educational approach that incorporates education for sustainable development in all layers of schooling, instead of it being taught as a stand-alone subject. The whole school approach uses participatory methods to facilitate learning, and calls for all sectors of the school, from students to teachers to administrators to be actively engaged in working towards a sustainable school.
